Ashfield In2Focus sweeps the awards at PF 2009

Ashfield In2Focus has cemented its place as the UK’s leading provider of nurse advisors, after winning all three nursing categories at the Pf Awards 2009 on 12 March. During a glittering ceremony hosted by Eamon Holmes at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel, Ashfield In2Focus had eight finalists and one commendation in the three categories. The results were:

The Pf Awards are the premier awards event in the UK pharmaceutical industry calendar, recognising and celebrating excellence in sales, account management and partnerships.
New Nurse Advisor winner Sara Philips has been working in the industry since 1989, holding a wide variety of roles including GP rep, practice nurse, COPD response nurse and asthma nurse. She also worked in the NHS, running community respiratory services in north Devon. In 2008
she left the NHS after being diagnosed with cancer. Last August she successfully returned to work with Ashfield In2Focus. Sara said: “I’m really grateful to the company for giving me a chance and the huge amount of support I’ve received. I’m lucky to enjoy what I do and have the support of a highly professional team.” Becky Dobson is senior nurse advisor on the diabetes team. She works with Warwick Medical School and Sanofi-Aventis, managing the care of Type 2 diabetics in primary care. Becky’s been with Ashfield In2Focus for over six years and has worked in a number of fields, including weight management, vaccines, gastroenterology and osteoporosis. Sharon Davies, winner of the Nurse Manager award, said: “Three awards is an outstanding achievement and reflects the service we provide clients, patients and the NHS. It also reflects our way of thinking, the way we treat people and how we relate to one another at work; these are what make us an outstanding company.”
