NICE implementation programme
Putting NICE guidance into practice can be challenging. NICE has set up a programme to help support implementation. We believe that by working with the NHS, local authorities, private and voluntary sectors, and the wider public NICE can help ensure its guidance is implemented. Ashfield In2Focus, in collaboration with clinicians and industry sponsors, devises and delivers programmes designed to facilitate the implementation of NICE and other best practice guidance. 

These programmes may include some or all of the following elements:-

• Audit to identify

- current level of delivery of best practice

- patients currently not managed in accordance with the (NICE) guidelines

- Healthcare Professional education and competency assessment.

• Patient review clinics which may include

- patient education
- management review
- provision of a management plan

• Re-audit and feedback to assess the impact of the Ashfield In2Focus Programme on best practice delivery.
