The Academy is an exciting and challenging programme which develops key management skills and commercial awareness, enabling our rising stars to achieve ambitious career goals at the earliest opportunity.

On completion of this unique two-year competency based career development programme, Academy graduates will have developed a fuller understanding of the commercial environment in which Ashfield In2Focus works, to meet client needs.

The Academy programme has been awarded a Level 4 accreditation, equivalent to an introductory degreee level, by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).

Developing talent, delivering success
Through a series of project based initiatives and head office based development,  the Academy provides an additional opportunity to enhance the professional expertise of selected individuals. This in turn supports and develops stronger sales teams and nurse advisors adding further impact to the overall success of client projects. Ashfield Academy enables individuals to develop to their full potential in their current roles and prepares them for future roles within the industry.

Main aims of the Academy programme:
Academy delegates are expected to demonstrate how skills and knowledge gained from the programme can be applied to their current roles.

  • Academy standards are exceptionally high and delegates who complete the programme experience professional development, in preparation for future business opportunities.

Selection Procedures
In order to identify the most talented representatives and nurse advisors in the organisation our Senior Management Team have put in place the most rigorous of selection procedures for the Ashfield Academy.

Annually, candidates are nominated by our clients and our Regional Managers to be assessed for the programme. Nominated candidates are asked to submit a justification for their application. Successful proposals lead to delegates attending an assessment centre, which has been carefully written to measure their performance against our competency framework.

The assessment centre tests include an occupational personality questionnaire, intry exercise, analytical exercise, role play, group exercise and in depth interiewing.
